Heading Back to Florida
After we left Jamaica, the ship hauled major butt on its way back to Miami. We basically had to cover
almost as much distance in one day as we had sailed in the previous five. And you could really feel the
ship moving this time. It was the one day I actually got nauseous, but not too bad.
It was weird to feel the ship often listing to one side.

So we had the whole day on the ship to do pretty much nothing. It was the last opportunity to
take in some sun, some drinks, and just have fun. Here is a picture of myself and Patty, Rachel,
and Heather, and some other dude. Patty looks a little rough because she just got back from
playing Carnival Survivor...

White boy probably getting too much sun on the deck!

Later on that day I decided to have some misguided, foolish fun with karaoke. For some damn reason, I like to do this stuff, even though I know I'm no good. It's really a blast though! I decided to sing Smash Mouth's remake of the Monkee's song "I'm a Believer". The crowd got really into it, and it was a lot of embarrassing fun!

I didn't get a whole lot of chances to check out the sunsets during the cruise, so I made an effort to remember the final evening. But as you can see, it wasn't all that great that night.

However, I did get this blurry - but decent - sunset shot earlier in the cruise.
I think it was when we were in Cozumel.

And finally, it is true that these cruises have extravagant midnight buffets and ridiculous ice sculptures.
Usually I was too damn tired to stay awake until midnight though, but I managed to get to see
this setup on the final night. (This was only about half of it!) But again, I was too tired to wait
to partake of it when they opened it up, and I headed off to put the last day to bed.
